ABOUT HOBSONS BAY MUSIC ACADEMY

Hobsons Bay Music Academy provides music education in Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Bass, Violin, Drums, Vocals and Saxophone. Band ensembles, theory group classes, youth choir and song writing and improvisation courses are also run at the school. Hobsons Bay Music Academy has been in operation since 2013.

At Hobsons Bay Music Academy, we pride ourselves on exposing our students to the world of music education and performance. Our primary objective is to foster the acquisition of skills in our students that will enable them to appreciate and love music and essentially play for life by using relevant up to date music teaching resources and approaches.

Our programs are holistic and diverse, catering to the needs of the students in our community. We teach both classical and modern streams including jazz and offer both individual and group courses in all our music programs. We have a total of seven teachers who are all qualified and passionate about helping students achieve their highest potential.

We are passionate about sharing our talents with the community. There are an abundance of performances for the students in which they can partake including school based events, wider community events, fundraising, competitions and schools.

Every student we encounter is different, and tailoring our experience to the student is our specialty. From intensive competition study to just wanting to play popular pop songs, meeting other students playing different instruments and forming a band or joining a youth choir.
